As a “thank you” for ten years‘ co-operation in the eld of rubber-graphite seal strip production, Röchling Leripa Papertech received the „Sapri“ as a symbol for outstanding co-operation from Voith, the globally leading paper machine manufacturer.
In a paper machine, seal strips are responsible for the operability of the suction roller. If the seal strips malfunction, the vacuum in the suction roller collapses, rendering further paper production impossible.
These suction roller seals therefore rank among the key components in paper machines. Since the beginning of co-operation with Voith in 2001, Röchling Leripa Papertech has been the absolute
market leader in the eld of hightech suction roller seals and from that time on has processed 900 tons of rubber-graphite. Röchling Leripa Papertech has now received the Sapri for this reliable, ten-year
co-operation. Sapri are sculptures of the Austrian artist Alfred Bradler living in Germany. „Sapri are cheeky, chubby, sappy, jovial, graceful, stable, dynamic, aloof, coded, and even erotic – no matter whether as an image or as a sculpture“.
