PA 12 | extruded polyamide
Characteristics: Lowest water absorption and highest dimensional stability among the polyamides, noise and vibration reducing, exceptionally high impact resistance even at low temperatures, good machinability, good adherence properties, good weldability
Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, alkalis, grease, oil, fuels, ethers, esters, ketones
No resistance to halogens, mineral acids and certain organic acids, oxidants
Typical applications: Maintenance-free components, parts at risk of being damaged, environments in which noise and vibration-reducing characteristics are required.
Bearing and transmission parts, housings and covers, sealing and damping elements, pump parts
