PA 6 | extruded polyamide
Characteristics: Tough and impact resistant even in cold temperatures, highly dynamic energy absorption capacity, good chemical resistance to organic solvents and fuels, excellent sliding characteristics, good wear resistance, high level of moisture absorption for increased impact resistance, not as low-stress as cast PA 6G, energy-elastic, shock and vibration reducing, good weather resistance, excellent machinability, good adherence properties, good weldability, low density, ability to withstand high mechanical stresses, little distortion under mechanical loads, high surface hardness
Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, alkalis, grease, oil, fuels, ethers, esters, ketones
No resistance to halogens, mineral acids and certain organic acids, oxidants
Typical applications: PA 6 is a standard polyamide for a wide range of technical applications.
A series of special versions is also available for your individual application needs.
