ROBATEC® PA 66
PA 66 | extruded polyamide
Characteristics: Extruded, increased hardness and wear resistance, good durability even at low temperatures, hardest, best sliding behavior of all unmodified PA plastics, high thermostability, high level of moisture absorption for increased impact resistance, exceptionally strong and hard over a broad temperature range, excellent machinability, good adherence properties, good weldability, high continuous operating temperature
Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, alkalis, grease, oil, fuels, ethers, esters, ketones
No resistance to halogens, mineral acids and certain organic acids, oxidants
Typical applications: Parts subjected to mechanical stress and exposed to high operating temperatures, e.g. slide bearings, gears, guide, and coupling parts
