PA 6G | cast polyamide
Characteristics: More low-stress than extruded PA 6, better tensile and compression strength than extruded PA 6, better mechanical machinability than extruded PA 6, good adhesive properties, good weldability, impact-resistant, energy-elastic, shock and vibration reducing, good weather resistance, high dynamic energy absorption capacity, excellent resistance to bases, poor resistance to acids, limited resistance to solvents, high level of moisture absorption for increased impact resistance, low density, ability to withstand high mechanical stresses, little distortion under mechanical loads, high surface hardness
Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, alkalis, grease, oil, fuels, ethers, esters, ketones
No resistance to halogens, mineral acids and certain organic acids, oxidants
Typical applications: Gears, rollers, cable rollers
PA 6G is a universal material – wherever there are no special requirements
