Good resistance to water and steam (outstanding hydrolysis resistance for unreinforced material), alcohol, esters, bases, oil, grease, fuels
No resistance to sulfuric acids, nitric acids, halogens, MEK at elevated temperatures
Typical applications: Parts exposed to high temperatures, mechanical stress, and conditions such as X-rays or gamma rays
e.g. electrical insulators and housings, wire and cable insulation, rotor arms, thrust washers and seals, shock absorbers, components for analysis equipment, components for dialysis machines, valve linings, impellers for pumps
