Characteristics: Very high UV stability, high transparency, low density, minimal moisture absorption, very good adherence properties, good printing surface, very hard and rigid, high mechanical strength, can be polished, low stress crack resistance, low chemical resistance, low durability (brittle)

Good resistance to weak acids and alkalis, aliphatic hydrocarbons, non-polar solvents, grease, oil, water
No resistance to hot water (hydrolysis), alcohol, acetone, aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene, strong mineral acids, strong organic acids, oxidizing acids, strong bases, perchlorethylene, trichlorethylene

Typical applications include lamps, signs, glazing, covers, dome lights
