ROBATEC® POM-C ESD 90

no_pic_available
Polyoxymethylene copolymer with static inhibitor

Semi-crystalline thermoplast | Technical plastic

CharacteristicsStrong and hard, high dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, outstanding sliding characteristics, very low creep characteristics, good machinability, good weldability, favorable electric and dielectric behavior, POM-C has the ideal combination of strength + rigidity + durability
Characteristics compared with POM-H: more resistant to chemicals, lower water absorption, higher electric insulation, more resistant to hydrolysis

Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, alkalis, grease, oil, fuels, ethers, esters, ketones, water up to approx. 100°C
No resistance to halogens, nitrous gases, strong acids, and oxidants

Typical applications: Parts with high demands placed on dimensional stability and appearance
e.g. gears, control disks, impellers, bearings, slide and spring elements, pump parts, valve bodies, snap elements, bearing cages, seals, coupling parts, transmission parts, sorting and feeding devices, pump housings, flanges, coil formers, insulators, relay housings, and transformer housings
