Characteristics: Very good dimensional stability, low density, virtually no moisture absorption, very good adherence properties, good weldability, good printing surface, good machinability, little distortion under mechanical loads, resistant to exceptionally strong impacts, very tough even at low temperatures, good surface hardness, perfect combination of rigidity and durability, high thermostability, high electrical insulation capability
Good resistance to water, suds, diluted acids, alkalis
Limited resistance to alcohol, grease, oil
No resistance to concentrated mineral acids, hydrocarbons, esters, ethers, ketones
Typical applications: Parts with good dimensional stability and thermostability,
e.g. parts for air conditioning systems, warm air distribution equipment, coil formers, connectors, cable ducts, impellers for circulation pumps
