Characteristics: Strong, rigid, and hard, flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, high chemical resistance, good electrical insulation properties, low water absorption, low durability, limited weather resistance, good machinability, good thermoformability, very good adherence properties, good weldability, very good printability

Very good resistance to acids, bases, alcohol, oil, benzene
No resistance to acetone, ethers, benzol, chloroform, concentrated hydrochloric acids

Typical applications: Components requiring a high chemical resistance or high flame resistance.
e.g. reservoirs, pipes, fittings, pump components, switch cabinets, cable ducts

• Limited deep-drawing characteristics
• Very good adherence properties
• Welds extremely well
• Good printability
