Characteristics: High chemical and temperature resistance, very high UV stability, extremely good weather resistance, extremely flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, virtually no moisture absorption, high purity level, good deep-drawing characteristics, very good weldability, little distortion under mechanical loads, resistant to strong impacts, good surface hardness, good electrical insulation properties, food safe (FDA)
Very good resistance to acids, oxidants, halogens, alcohol, chlorinated solvents, aliphatic hydrocarbons, fuels
No resistance to bases and amines (at high temperatures), DMA, DMF, NMP
Typical applications: Parts requiring outstanding chemical resistance (even at high temperatures).
e.g. seals, valve and pump parts, membranes, housings, reservoirs, pipes and sleeves, medical components
