Special features
There are many different types of feed area material – yet a great many of these cannot withstand the daily stresses to which they are exposed. Mold, leaks, and ruptures are just a few of the problems encountered. Röchling LERIPA Papertech
has tackled this problem head on and has produced a smooth, clean, and hygienic surface made from high performance ROBATEC plastic:
- 3 mm thickness – no wearing or licking through
- Supplied in continuous rolls up to a max. width of 1.5 m
- UV resistance
- Acid resistance
Installation: both refurbishment and new installation
The new feed area system is easily to install, either by the farmer himself or with the assistance of a fitter from Röchling LERIPA Papertech.
Procedure:
1. Refurbishment: Milling off the surface
New installation: Incorporating a v-strip
2. Customizing the ROBATEC layer
3. Applying adhesive and rolling out the mat
4. Manual processing after approx. 3 hours
