Chemical resistance
ROBAFLOW demonstrates good chemical resistance to all forms of aggressive media within the paper industry (hot soda lyes, hydrochloric acids, formic acids, sulfuric acids, etc., primarily 5 – 15% acids).
Transportation, storage, & assembly
The vanes are transported in special cases in which the ROBAFLOW is vertically suspended and protected against impacts from the side / front. The case must be stored upright to provide optimum conditions for storing spare vanes over a long period. When assembling the ROBAFLOW, the transport case is turned over and used as a guide rail. The ROBAFLOW can be slid directly out of the support in the case and into place on the headbox.
- The transport case serves as both a place for storage and an assembly aid
- The transport case is designed to be refilled with spare parts
- The transport case provides additional protection for the narrow tips of the vanes
